The leaflet illustrated below gives full details of the CPS8256's uses but it does not add, due to it's 1986 publication date, that this interface can also be used with the later PCW models (not the PcW16) but do note that the PcW9256 and PcW10 require an adaptor to enable it's use. The one main drawback to this Interface is that it does not have a through port. Other manufacturers produced an equivalant and some with through ports useful for piggy-backing other add-on's, such as Scanners, Mices, Memory packs, Light Pens and etc.
