Solder the Phono plug onto one end of the coaxial cable, taking care not to leave any strands of the outer screening hanging loose.
Next you need to fix the other end of the coaxial cable to the Scart plug. Solder the centre of the coaxial cable to Pin 20 and the screening to Pin 18 (again remembering not to leave any strands loose). The diagram below shows where these pins are located.

You are now ready to test out your handy work. With the PCW switched off and likewise the TV, slide the Rombo Vidi interface into the expansion port on the back of the PCW (you need to ensure that the contacts are spotlessly clean) and then insert the phono plug in the socket marked Video out (see side view of interface below)

Now insert the Scart plug into the socket on the back of the TV, from the various TV manuals studied the Socket marked External 1 is the one to try, but of course age and type of TV could make a difference -- check you TV's own hand book as some TV's have three Scart sockets, others only two and older TV's only one.
Switching on time.Turn on the PCW and boot with either Locoscript or CP/M, then turn on the TV and using the remote control log into the External 1 option (or whichever Scart socket you are using). All being well you should have your PCW programme screen on your TV ---- no sadly not in colour.
Testing your other PCW Peripherals. If you are using other PCW peripherals you will need to test them one at a time, with, of course, the Rombo Vidi interface still in place, as there could be a very slight chance that they might use the same I/O addressing and if so, you will have no option but to leave it unconnected whilst the video digitiser is in use. Always clean all contacts as you test each Interface.
